Song of Myself - Walt Whitman

➤ Song of Myself Summary in Easy Language :-

'Song of Myself' is an outstanding poem which has been composed by American poet Walt Whitman. In this poem, the poet expresses his sentiment toward humanity. This poet talks about himself in this poem. He enjoys himself and sings for the self.

According to the poet, every autumn belongs to him to every human being. He says all men are born equal and everything in all human beings is the same even their blood is of the same colour. They take the same mind and breathe the same air.

Nature soothes everyone in the same way. The poet feels that his good health will be continued until his death. He is above caste and creeds. He accepts that life is no bed of roses. It is full of difficulties and also happiness.

The poet Walt Whitman feels that life is the finest gift given by God. He says that everyone should think that there is nothing in life. So always be happy and try to make others happy.

Thus, the poet wants to say that there is no differences between the two human beings.
